Los Angeles, CA (May 1st, 2012) — The Indomina Group, the fast-growing U.S. and Dominican Republic based producer and distributor of film, TV and trans-media content, announced June 15th as the North America theatrical release date for “Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap,” (www.theartofrap.com) the Ice-T-directed documentary that premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and features some of the rap and hip-hop’s biggest talent, including Chuck D, Grandmaster Caz, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Melle Mel, Q-Tip, Redman, Mos Def, Afrika Bambaataa, B Real, Immortal Technique, Ice Cube, MC Lyte, Nas, Dr. Dre, KRS-One, Common and Kanye West.
Ice-T added, “I’m very excited about the upcoming summer release of my film – ‘The Art of Rap’. I am confident that music and movie lovers alike will really get into it.”
This looks like it’s going to be a historic moment in hip hop when this drops. The people Ice T involved interviewed and featured in this film would likely all be in the Hip Hop hall of fame. Wait is there a hip hop Hall of Fame. Next plateau we must reach, until then this movie will fulfill all hip hop enthusiasts with a good fix of hip hop medicine.
