WhYnVy (pronounced “Why Envy”) is a group consisting of two powerful hip-hop forces, Yhaki “Yhakavich” Belvin and Ruben “Vanz” Switzer. WhYnVy, discovered by Stage Frite Music Group (“SFMG”), an Atlanta based independent record label recognized that “Vanz and Yhaki” distinc sound complimented each other, and together they could make chart topping music. Thus the capitalized Y in the group name stands for “Yhaki”, the V stands for “Vanz” and WhYnVy signifies two young men on the grind representing their love for music.
